About FWL

The Chartered Purpose of Frisco Women’s League:

  • Promote Community Service and enhance the quality of life in the City of Frisco and surrounding areas.
  • Support activities, programs, and projects, which aid civic, cultural, and educational development in our community.
  • Assist the Community through volunteerism, fundraisers and community projects.

Founded in 2002, and obtaining IRS 501(c)3 status as a registered public charity in 2004, the Frisco Women’s League is an all-volunteer organization, over 130 women strong. Members live in Frisco and Plano and hail from all over Texas, with diverse educational and professional backgrounds.

FWL’s primary contribution to the North Texas community is via volunteerism. Members give back to the community by volunteering their time and talents to such organizations as the Frisco Special Olympics, Frisco Family Services Center, the American Cancer Society, North Texas senior centers, Carter BloodCare, Project Playhouse, Meals on Wheels, the Frisco Fire Department and countless others.

Annually, we host several small charity fundraisers, with the Mother & Daughter Tea as our largest annual event. These events are always dedicated fundraisers, with all profits going to the beneficiary. FWL does not raise funds from the public for its own operations; our operating expenses are funded by members’ dues.
